Roy F Burrows Midland Collection Trust This trust keeps a very large collection of artifacts and documents relating to the Railway.
The Friends of the Derwent Valley Line This is a voluntary group representing passengers & local communities along the Derby-Matlock railway line. They are seeking to publicise the line & encourage usage of the line in the run-up to the hourly service to be provided by East Midlands Trains from December 2008

Jacksdale There's a local site for the village of Jacksdale - There's plenty for you here!!
Ilkeston Camera If you want to get off the Erewash and visit Ilkeston, you might find Garth Newton's site interesting - it does have canal pictures on it!
Pentrich Historical Society This includes details & documents relating to the Pentrich Revolution of 1817 and details of the 'Pentrich Revolution Trail', which is a 4-mile walk in & around Pentrich, Derbyshire. The site also has a lot of historical & genealogical content regarding the general history of Pentrich & its former residents.

The Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site The Cromford Canal is in (and forms part of) the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site

Accommodation

The Derwent Hotel A small and friendly country pub, restaurant and hotel located in the Peak District village of Whatstandwell in Derbyshire's lower Derwent Valley. The Hotel commands a prominent riverside location adjacent to Whatstandwell Bridge, and is close to the popular tourist towns of Matlock and Matlock Bath.
The Coach House The Coach House was originally built for the 18th Century industrialist Sir Richard Arkwright; it's now used today as a stunning self catering property in the heart of the historic market town of Wirksworth in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales.
